How do I stop someone from using my address for spam?

I noticed an email sent from my email address to me in my spam box. I did not send this email and DO NOT want anyone using my address to send spam. A cut and paste of the email is below. Please help me stop this.

This is kinda strange because it is a free email account that you are using. So who ever is using your account is 2 lazy 2 get an email adress on his own i guess… anyway, try changing your passwords every week because he seems to have gotten your password. The second thing would be to remove any emails you have gotten for passwords and stuff like that, maybe forward them to another email or copy them into a wordpad. if that fails, then send an email to all of your contacts saying that a spammer has gotten acess to my email account, and that you will be getting a new email account.
